Applications are being accepted for the 4th annual NCI-R25 funded Transdisciplinary Research on Energetics and Cancer (TREC) Training Workshop for early career investigators (i.e., junior faculty and postdocs) from basic, clinical and population science disciplines. See flyer attached.
Funded by NCI and led by Yale University’s Dr. Melinda Irwin with a Senior Advisory Board and expert faculty from across North America, this program builds capacity in transdisciplinary and translational energetics and cancer research. This 5-day, in residence Workshop is offered annually and places emphasis on energetics (i.e., obesity, diet and exercise) and cancer. Faculty span an array of professional disciplines, from clinicians to basic scientists to behavioral and population scientists.
The 4th annual course will be held June 21-26, 2020 at Water’s Edge Resort, Westbrook, CT, U.S.A. Costs will be covered (excluding ground transportation). Notification of Intent to apply is due December 16, 2019 (LOI is a very simple, informal email to my program director, Diana Lowry at firstname.lastname@example.org).
