Brief Description

his $200,000, two-year fellowship supports a woman who has an MD, PhD, or combined MD/PhD degree with a vested interest in furthering research in cancer immunotherapy for the treatment of patients with melanoma. 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

To be eligible for this fellowship, applicants must be women who:

  • Current SITC member, in good standing at time of application (i.e. current in dues)
  • Hold an MD, PhD or combined MD/PhD degree
  • Currently hold a position at an academic institution as an Assistant Professor (or
    equivalent position)
  • Be within four years of acquiring the applicant’s first full-time academic faculty
    appointment at the level of Assistant Professor (or equivalent position)
  • Name a pre-arranged fellowship mentor
  • Submit a letter of recommendation from the mentor along with the application
  • Domestic and international applicants are eligible to apply
