Brief Description

Dear Colleague,

NCI has just released a time sensitive Request for Information (RFI) seeking community input on research approaches and priorities related to SARS-CoV-2 serology and cancer. Responses to the notice are due by May 26, 2020.

It is critical that NCI receives input quickly from the broader research community to help address the immense public health burdens created by COVID-19. To ensure broad awareness and engagement in these opportunities, we ask you to share this notice within other parts of your institution or to additional research networks. Questions about the RFI can be addressed to Serology_RFI@mail.nih.gov.

In addition, NCI posted a Notice of Intent to publish a Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) for components of the new Serological Sciences Network on May 15. The RFA is expected to be announced in June with expected application due dates in July. Awards are anticipated to be made in September this year.

The specific scientific focus of these funding opportunities will be informed by the community responses to the RFI.  We look forward to sharing additional information about this FOA soon.

Thank you in advance for your support and please do not hesitate to reach out for any additional information.

Regards,

Melanie
